We booked a wine tour with Bush Tucker tours to show our friends from Texas different type of wines and drinking spots in margaret river and i would highly recommend booking a tour through Bush tucker, not only was excellent customer service from the staff in the office assisting with making the bookings for our group but on the day the guide we had was amazing. Rhys was so much fun and ensured we all had a good time experiencing the different spots and also took the time to hang out and talk to us at each spot. Also he made sure to drive us home past some known spots that kangaroos hanged out so our friends could actually see one in the wild. Was a great time and such a good day spent out. - 1 week ago

Wow, what a fantastic day on the Bush Tucker Canoe Tour!! Cannot recommend highly enough!!!12 years ago I did this tour with my visiting UK family and on their recent trip back to OZ it was THE FIRST thing they wanted to book as they wanted to take their kids and it did not disappoint!!! An amazing day for all ages, Helen at Bush Tucker Tours is energetic, knowledgeable and incredibly passionate about the history of the Margaret River. From the moment we stepped onto the bank of the river the fun started - tasting native bush plants - before paddling up the river! We jumped off giant rocks for a cooling swim, and were treated to the most amazing spread of “bush tucker foods” on the river bank, we all ate everything - even the fussy kids!! My husband who is not a fan of “touristy trips” absolutely loved the tour, a perfect balance of information, fun and food, all curated by the wonderful Helen!! This is a MUST DO trip for locals and tourists alike! 5 STARS from our party of 8, a real highlight!!! - 2 weeks ago

We enjoyed a fabulous day on the Bushtucker River and Wine Tour. Our guide Pete was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour, which he needed with us unruly bunch! Our tour combined great food and wine with a distillery and a brewery so everyone was catered for. Excellent value and great fun. We would definately recommend this tour company. - 3 weeks ago

Bushtucker Tours’ Margaret River canoe trip is something I’d highly recommend. I’ve done it a couple of times now and it’s been fantastic every time. The paddle down the river is beautiful and very relaxing, and the guides make the experience really engaging by sharing their knowledge of the wild foods that grow in the area.One of the highlights is the lunch — it’s full of flavour and packed with unique and rare ingredients that you wouldn’t normally get to try. It’s a really memorable way to experience the local bush foods.The light-hearted competition at the end is also a great touch and finishes the day off on a fun note. We have been using Bush Tucker Wine Tours for 15 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed each one. It’s a great chance to experience the wines from some of the smaller wineries in Margaret River that we probably wouldn’t even know exist. A great experience was completed with historical tales of original settlers and the indigenous people. A Perfect Family Tradition - Highly Recommended! For the third summer in a row, we enjoyed the river canoeing tour, and it has truly become our favourite family holiday tradition. The kids talk about it all year and, once again, we had an absolutely fantastic day. The conditions were perfect—beautiful weather and the stunning, peaceful scenery that always makes this trip so special. A huge thank you to our guide, Emma. She was not only knowledgeable and friendly but also had a wonderfully calm and reassuring presence. Her genuine care for the whole group was evident, and her peaceful demeanour made the experience even more relaxing and enjoyable. Nature and food lovers don’t miss this! We got to ride in the same canoe as the guide David, who is very funny, a wealth of knowledge, and has local aboriginal friendships and took amazing photos of us. While the food is not cooked in front of you, it is tasty dips and preserved meats: highlight being crocodile meat, emu meat, dried bush tomatoes, berry peppers. we had a fabulous time on our canoe tour. Emma is so knowledgeable about the wildlife, history of the area and respectful of the indigenous stories she retold. The lunch was delicious and my kids took in the information about the edible plants, pointing them out as we travelled around the coast afterwards. Great wine tour with several stops at beautiful wineries. It was an excellent way to fill up the day and pickup and dropoff were included. Our tour guide, Ray, was very friendly and informative. We tried a range of wines, and a few beers and spirits were included as well. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to expirience the wine culture of Margaret River. The price was reasonable as well. The only critique I have is that I wish we were able to spend a bit longer at each winery to savor the wines more.
