I personally haven’t participated in the canoe tour but my kids and grandkids are all bush people and they absolutely loved it. The food was outstanding especially for kids who are normally not open for the gourmet delights but all of them were very excited to eat the Australian authentic tastes. Many thanks to Helen and Adam for a fabulous tour. Picked up at our accomodation at 10am to meet up with the rest of the tour at the first vineyard. All vineyards were extremely interesting and very different tastes of wines @ Woody Nook Winery, Cape Naturaliste Vineyard and Bettaneys. Loved the liquor tasting at the Grove. We had a fabulous day. Met some lovely, funny and interesting people on our bus. Will have great memories of the day. Thanks so much everyone and to Adam for bearing with all the fun on the bus. I had a great day. Needn’t have worried about my reduced physical stamina, the canoeing was taken at our own pace. Marty gave us stories, history and challenges along the way. Had a great day out on the canoes and learning lots about the native wildlife and history of Margaret River from our tour guide. Bush Tucker was delicious and again a great explanation of where everything came from and how it was made. Only reason it’s not a 5 as we had v high winds on our canoe back making our trip very challenging however the tour guide did not leave our side once and did his best to guide us back. - 3 weeks ago

Had a great afternoon tour at the end of 2024. 20 school kids were captivated by stories and history that was being shared with them along their river paddle, as well as some environmental fun facts. My family did the bushtucker canoe tour and all I can say is what an amazing tour. We had Em as our guide and she had a beautiful and calm disposition, her ability to provide information was so well delivered. The canoe experience through the river allowed us to enjoy and learn so much. The lunch certainly was a highlight, what a unique and wonderful way to put Aussie bushtucker on display and for us to experience. Not only did it taste wonderful it was presented just beautifully with everything well thought out. Thank you to the team for putting on such a great experience. Went on the canoe tour with our guide Marty. It was so enjoyable and educational at the same time. Marty was very knowledgeable about local history, flora and of course the bush tucker. As a family of 4 we had a great experience on our canoe tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed his stories. The lunch was great with lots of local/australian produce and tucker we had never tasted or heard of. The bushtucker canoe & lunch tour was a big highlight of our trip down south. A group of 9 (4 adults & 5 kids ranging from ages 6-14). Spread out over two canoes, it was physical but worth the effort. The scenery was spectacular, the knowledge of the guides was vast and the bush tucker lunch was delicious and well thought out. We absolutely loved our tour! Emma was really knowledgeable, and made sure our slightly slower canoe (we were the only one with children) didn't get left behind. Such good value for a family of 5. The buchtucker lunch was delicious and we all loved trying new foods. It was a windy day so the paddle back to the rivermouth was challenging, but we felt a huge sense of accomplishment when we made it back. Thank you! - 1 month ago

Very easy to book, good communication from the organisers and they picked us up and dropped us off at our rental property, which saved us having to get to a pick up point. The tour was great - we were drinking by 11am! The tour guide, Peter, was hospitable and very knowledgeable. We had a great bunch of people on the tour as well. The lunch was tasty and it was a good learning experience about wine. It was really interesting to see wineries, breweries and distilleries as part of the tour and ending up in a chocolate factory, rounded off the day nicely! Thanks to everyone involved. If you want to have an amazing time when you visiting Margaret River area, it is one of the best activities to plan. Perfect nature tour, canoe is for all the ages and physical status. You learn a lot for the area, the eiver and the local food. Extremely experiemce also to sqim in the river. Water is awesome and it is a perfect relaxing experience.
