We booked this after seeing a flyer at our campsite. We wanted to do a winery tour, but driving a motorhome around cellar doors was not a good idea. We got on the following day's tour (fortunately for another couple who had also booked, but were on hold, as it's not viable to run it with only two customers. Adam, the guide and driver, was on time (10.00am) at our campsite for the pick-up in the minibus. Friendly and informative from the off, he was great in making all four of us welcome and involved in the day's programme. Having such a small group was particularly good. It enabled him to interact with, and answer questions from everyone. In the end, we visited three wineries. At each one we were presented with a good range of up to half a dozen wines. Just as well we weren't driving! Lunch was at one of the wineries, and consisted of traditional bushtucker food prepared and laid out on First Nation patterned tablecloths by Adam (among other things he is also a chef and cake-maker). He explained all of the ingredients (some of which we tasted individually). To add a personal touch, many of the ingredients were grown in his own garden. After the wineries, we went to a distillery (more delicious samples of spirits and liquers), finishing up at a brewery and cidery, sampling jugs of ales and ginger beer. There was no pressure to buy at any of the venues, but the produce was so good we all came away with a bottle or two. We were due to finish at a chocolate factory, but because we were so involved as a group with Adam, chatting away about everything, we ran out of time. However, we all felt that a further venue was not really necessary. One observation; at the first winery we visited, the manager told us that his would be best that day. Marketing hype? No, he was right, and perhaps we did not buy as much wine as we might have; the others didn't quite meet the standard of the first. Maybe leave that 'til later or last? All-in-all, a brilliant day (we got back at 5.00pm), which every one of us enjoyed, and the whole experience was enhanced by Adam, whose knowledge, enthusiasm, and tales really made the day. If you have a day in Marg, you must do this tour! - 1 week ago

We did the Bushtucker Margret River Winery and Brewery tour. A great day out visiting wineries, lunch at a tap house, a distillery and a chocolate factory. Reece was our driver and picked us up outside our accommodation. A good way to see a range of Margret River wineries that we might not have seen otherwise. - 3 weeks ago

The Bush Tucker wine tour exceeded all our expectations. Communication was second to none at all times re pick up time. Our group was small, the laughter and fun started at the first winery as we got to know the others on the tour and didn’t stop until drop off. We had the bush tucker lunch and enjoyed a selection of different Australian food groups. Thanks so much Carole and Peter, it was a brilliant fun day. - 3 weeks ago

We were so lucky to be able to have this experience given that we booked on the morning of the tour. We were immediately contacted and given very clear details of the pick up and this was then confirmed by several texts. The tour itself took in two wineries, a distillery, two breweries and a chocolate factory. The tour also included a lunch at one of the venues. The wineries and the distillery were the high points of the day and the staff at each location were knowledgeable, relaxed, funny, and very welcoming. Our guide Rhys moved things along at a good pace but we didn’t really feel rushed. Overall, a great tour and good value for money. Highly recommended. - 3 weeks ago

I did this tour more than ten years ago purely for the BushTucker experience. I had such a fantastic time then I thought I would give it another try and boy I wasn’t disappointed. Helen and her team Maureen and our Tour guide Pete were fantastic. We were picked up on time and Pete was very knowledgeable about the wineries and the Bush Tucker we had for lunch. We meet some amazing people from all over the world. By the end of the tour we had made many new friends.😂😂😂😂 If your are in or around the Margaret River area be sure to give them a call you won’t be disappointed. Cheers. Mark and Dawn. Gold Coast. I went on the Canoe tour and had a wonderful time. It was just 6 people, including myself and the guide, so we shared 2 canoes. My group in the canoe weren't the best at canoeing but it was a beautiful day, and learned a lot of history. I have to say my favorite part of the tour was the food. I loved trying different bush foods, as well as kangaroo, emu and crocodile. I highly recommend this tour! - 1 month ago

This trip would be my Fourth BT tour since arriving in WA in 2010. I've enjoyed every single time for different reasons but the crew are always highly professional and look after everything for you. I'm pretty sure I can speak on behalf of the other folks on the same tour this recent trip as everyone was having a blast. We had a great group with all of us from different backgrounds and age groups. Highly recommended- booking etc is a breeze and the team will answer all and any questions. Give them a go! - 1 month ago

This was our second tour with the Bushtucker Tour, our first being about 15 year ago. We really enjoyed the first one so we thought since we were back in WA for a visit, we would really like to do another Bushtucker tour, this time with some friends that we brought with us.Well it didn’t disappoint, Pete picked us up from our hotel and off we went. The tour was good and it was fun. Pete had a wealth of knowledge of the area and wine and even though we may have overstayed our allotted time at some of the tastings, Pete never rushed us.If ever you are in the Margaret River area, I highly recommend you do the Bushtucker Tour. - 4 months ago
