This was our second tour with the Bushtucker Tour, our first being about 15 year ago. We really enjoyed the first one so we thought since we were back in WA for a visit, we would really like to do another Bushtucker tour, this time with some friends that we brought with us.Well it didn’t disappoint, Pete picked us up from our hotel and off we went. The tour was good and it was fun. Pete had a wealth of knowledge of the area and wine and even though we may have overstayed our allotted time at some of the tastings, Pete never rushed us.If ever you are in the Margaret River area, I highly recommend you do the Bushtucker Tour. - 1 week ago

Fantastic day out visiting wineries. Lunch was perfect and Pete was our tour guide he was very knowledgeable and great to be with. The different places we visited were all full of friendly and helpful people. Our favourites were all of them including Notting Hill, Bettenays. Awsome tour. 2nd time we've done the tour and a great balance of what the region has to offer. The liquor stop was my favourite with some great drinks on offer. Each spot we had plenty of time to sample the drinks and even try or buy a few extra things after. The tour was great fun and very informative. A big thank you to Emma for making the canoe and bush tucker trip so special. This was such a fun and unique way to learn about the history of the area, do some wildlife spotting and taste the unique flavours of the Aussie bush. The canoes are very stable and easy to navigate. The short history given on the drive from our hotel in Busselton to the first winery was a nice added bonus. The canoe tour was an awesome tour to do in Margaret River! I have regularly visited the region over the past but had an interstate visitor this time so decided to book and it was an excellent choice. The equipment was well maintained and Helen took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable rowing and were prepared for the trip. As we made our way up river, Helen shared stories and answered questions keeping everyone thoroughly entertained. The bushtucker lunch was a very generous spread and showed off the native foods perfectly! There is no doubt Helen loves running this tour, her passion and energy were evident the whole day. I know the group makes the tour, but the guide often leads the charge. Reese was great at that. He found a good balance between having fun and "we gotta move on now". Lots of fun, variety of places and generally just a great day out. Fully recommend this tour. - 1 month ago

Our tour guide was very informative. She had lived in the area for a very long time and was able to give information on changes she had seen over the years and lots of information on different aspects of the river and it's ecology. We are a family of 3 and really enjoyed the paddle. Our daughter enjoyed seeing all the wildlife on the river. It was interesting trying the different Australian foods they had to offer - it's a pity we can't readily access many of these foods as they were fantastic! As a suggestion, I believe many people would enjoy being able to purchase some of the items we tried on the journey. - 1 month ago

Incredible and unique experience! Our driver Pete was friendly and knowledgeable, he took us to 6 different locations, I loved that this tour included wine beer and a distillery! The lunch provided was a beautiful selection of Australian bush tucker our only feedback was we would have loved to have had a recipe for some of the condiments provided like the pestos! If you are less adventurous they do have beef and chicken available too if crocodile, kangaroo and emu isn’t your thing. (There were no vegetarians on our tour however they did say they have options for vegetarians if needed 😊)The staff were fantastic all through this experience, including making sure we didn’t miss out when we booked online and they were at capacity for the date we requested, the staff worked out a way to keep us on this date as we were heading back the following day.Huge thank you to everyone this company and highly recommend you give this a try! - 1 month ago

My husband and I had a fantastic day with Bucktucker Wine tours. Great communication from organisers and pick ups and drop offs straight from our Hotel door. Pickup at 10.15 and dropped off 5.30. The tastings were great and very informative and staff were very friendly at the wineries. Lunch was lovely with live entertainment and beer tastings. Chocolate factory was well worth it too and our driver Pete was fantastic and joined in with our laughs on the bus. Definitely recommend Bushtucker to anyone looking for some nice wines, beers and great tour of Margaret River. Well worth the $150 and would definitely go on another tour next time Im in Dunsborough. We had Emma for our Bushtucker Canoe Tour, and she was incredible! She was super knowledgeable about the area and the different bush tucker that we tried. The scenery along the Margaret River was spectacular and Emma was able to explain the different flora and fauna that we saw. Sometimes Bushtucker Tours will provide common Australian Bushtucker Style Foods like kangaroo and macadamia. Fortunately this tour provided a range of Bushtucker we had never heard of or never tasted before including Rosella, Quandong and Desert Lime. It was truly once in a lifetime.
