Great "Bushtucker tour" canoe trip up the Margaret River. Tour guides Ben and Ben were fantastic. Friendly and had a good story to tell about the history of the area.
We stopped to swim and jumped off the rocks at the top of the river tour then travelled back to the most delicious bushtucker picnic. There was food for everyone even the less adventurous (chicken and bread) and the flavours were sensational.
My 80 yr old Mum came on the tour with us (had two grandsons in the the canoe to paddle with her). They did manage to accidentally capsize the canoe and the two Ben's were very quick to help her back to shore and back on the canoe.
Highly recommend this tour. Great family day out. Need to be able to paddle a canoe for a couple of hours in total but with up to 5 in a canoe it is pretty easy to do.

Just go! It will be one of the best tours you go on. It doesn’t matter if you’ve lived here all your life, or new to the area; you’ll never look at WA and Margaret River the same again. Incredible knowledge, great laughs and a lunch you’ll never forget. - 3 days ago

This would be my number 1 favorite thing to in Margaret River. We had Perry as our tour guide and he is what made our experience one to remember. Very knowledgeable and fun.
The swim in the river was beautiful and refreshing, lunch was delicious, the scenery was picturesque and the history was really interesting.

Thanks for the amazing experience and a special mention to Perry the guide for the great day.

Brilliant! Helen is so knowledgeable! My mum and I were privileged to be on the same canoe as Helen and we learnt more about our family heritage. We are related to the Bussels and knew a lot, but Helen knew so much more! Learning about the native plants and their uses was awesome too! Ben had my sons on his canoe and he was amazing with them! The bush tucker was DELICIOUS!!! My 2 sons LOVED the crocodile especially! Thank you Helen and Ben! It was such a fun day and we will definitely come again! - 5 days ago

Spent a very pleasant few hours with Bushtucker tours last week. Took us a while to canoe in close to straight line, but lots of fun. The guides were friendly and took us to a beautiful swimming spot before lunch. A great selection of foods from Emu to Crocodile, Roo and chicken. That was lovely, but the array of fruits and condiments all from the bush was brilliant, and the home made bread was to die for. Lots of information on local history too. Enjoyable fun morning and will certainly recommend the tour to friends... - 5 days ago

We had a great day out with Helen on the canoe tour. Got to hear some history of the area, had a fun swim in the river including jumps from the rocks, a bit of walk and the highlights of the day, a bushtucker lunch! Amazing native food, tasty chutneys and pestos, seeds and plants, as well as some crocodile and emu meat! Great value, especially if you have the Entertainment voucher. Next time we’ll do the wineries tour! - 5 days ago

Helen and the Bushtucker team were epic! She has a really great passion and this is evident in the details. The tour was so informative and so mind blowing that I Will definitely have to do it again. The Bushtucker feed was really tasty. My favorite was the crocodile and some of the native pesto. We also went on the wine tour and it was so much fun. Dan was our man and he was so great. Even when we didn’t really like the wine, Dan and his quick wit were there to save us. - 6 days ago

Was a pretty easygoing canoe ride with a swim in the Margaret River and a fabulous bush tucker lunch with emu, kangaroo, crocodile and native fruits, nuts, seeds and condiments. Our guides, Ben and Perry were helpful, fun and knowledgeable and we had a great time! There were lots of kids in the groups that came out with us and they all had a good time jumping into the water and trying new foods. Would highly recommend it for kids and adults alike and you don’t need to be super fit either!! - 1 week ago

Helen is a great story teller, the food was delicious and the canoe trip was a fantastic way to see the Margaret River.
Due to the weather (mainly the wind) we had a slightly shorter tour than usual but it was very enjoyable and we weren't exhausted by the paddle back.
Would definitely recommend and will book again next time we're in the area.
